Synopsis

Around about the Ides of March 2009, STAG is mounting a traditional production of William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. Shakespeare’s extraordinary study of Roman ambition and betrayal concentrates on the events leading up to, and the subsequent aftermath of, the assassination of Julius Caesar by a conspiracy led by his friend Brutus.

The production will emphasize the action and personal conflicts of its characters.
