Synopsis
This topical play deals with conflict within the football club – both on and off the playing field. A retired player is desperately trying to hold the club together at management level, while the board is having to deal with the on-field problem of a seasoned player having his nose put somewhat out of joint by the inclusion in the team of a promising young rookie.
